I tried to do some visual research on this creature... but there really isn't too many pics of an “Empress” xenomorph out there... and nothing that I thought was a appropriate representation of an Empress. I wanted to design something that looked like it could rip apart Queens with utmost ease.

As I understand it, a Queen evolves into an Empress when a nest grows large enough to have more than one queen. The empress will keep the other queens in line, ensuring they don't exhaust the food supply, flight amongst hives, etc.

...anyone think mr predator has the slightest chance of surviving??

Nice pic, saw it as the Pic-o-the-day on io9.com. As for odds, I'd call it even since Pred looks like he got the drop...question should be what's his escape plan after he gets his trophy? :P

Well this either will be one hell of a epic fight or going to end rather short for the Yautja(did I pronounce their species name right?) also known as Predator.The structures that make up the Empress`body give her a slight kind of shadowy appearance while retaining a air of primal danger, so I'll have to say that did a awesome job with this beautiful piece of art and please make... more.
